--::Welcome::-- We are surrendering our lovely house to suitable housemates as My wife & I Travel quite a lot. Once all the rooms are let and the solar panels are installed we will be off again. "Mi casa es su casa" it's a very nice house and we want you to be comfortable and look after 'Harley Villa'.

-- THE ROOM --
Available are two large double bedrooms located upstairs next to the bathroom. - furnished with double bed with side cabinet, chest of draws, clothes rail, TV, book shelves, table and chair, and a few other items. the rooms have recently been decorated with several improvements to improve the heat retention during the winter months. There are three hard wire network connections for each room, which should be enough. The WiFi works perfectly well from each room. we provide soft furnishings which includes. new duvet & pillows with duvet cover, new towels, a bedside lamp, Table Lamp, curtains, mirror and cushions. So the room are ready for use.

-- RATES --
ALL BILLS ARE INCLUDED in the price so you only pay one amount. This includes all utilities (gas, electric & water), council tax, TV license and unlimited access to high speed broadband (WiFi). There is also our friendly CLEANER that will clean all the communal areas every week!!

-- HOUSE --
it's a light airy, newly decorated four-bed double glazed very private Victorian detached house, with central heating. With A panoramic Garden including a patio, small Lawn, veg patch and a very large shed. The garden is perfect to chill out in the summer months

A beautifully and fully fitted kitchen. Equipped with the usual appliances, including cooker, microwave, Large fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. with many small appliances. the cupboards are full of pans, crockery and cutlery etc which you are welcome to use, and there is plenty of cupboard space. there's a very large chest freezer on the property.


Spacious comfortable socializing open living space furnished with large leather sofas, dinning table and chairs, coffee table large TV, DVD and more. With patio doors either side onto the garden

There's also a toilet on the ground floor and a basement.

-- LOCATION & TRANSPORT --
The house is located In old Basford and VERY CLOSE to the tram stop. In fact 'David lane' Tram stop is 4 mins walk along the road, it's only 7 stops to city centre. Also conveniently located right outside the door are the bus stops for the L14 Route (Bullwell- City Centre).

There's a local Premier Supermarket a few doors away, the Chip Shop is across the road and a Chinese 2 blocks away. Terry owns Vehicle repair shop next door, he looks after our vehicles. there's a very nice park around the corner with a outside Gym, Fish Pond, Tennis Courts, Football pitches and a Children's playground. It's a very nice place to meet and relax with family and friends.

-- PROSPECTIVE HOUSEMATES --
Ideally professionals and/or mature students who respect the privacy of others and are able to maintain the communal areas in a clean and tidy manner. ++PLUS++ or as important!! this would be your home, hopefully for a long duration; so some interaction with each other is important. As you can see in the photos that the house looks homely, we would encourage you to collectively share things like coffee, sugar; as has been the tradition thus far. We are open to any collective changes you may want to make to the communal areas.

Generally, a six month Tenancy is required. In most cases we require you to have good references and good credit history, however we understand that that's not always possible so try us anyway.

  • !!! Never Send Money Before Viewing a Room / Property

  • Overpayment Scam

    This scam entails the tenant sending their deposit to the landlord by cheque, but for a greater amount than what they are supposed to and asking for a refund. The landlord pays in the cheque and then sends the difference back to the tenant, only to find that the cheque bounces (is fake) and they cannot get the money back they returned. Cheques can bounce a number of weeks after being deposited, it is recommended you wait 30 days or check with your bank to ensure the cheque is fully cleared.

  • Choose house or flatmates carefully

    This scam involves a lodger or housemate moving in and appearing to be completely legitimate when in reality they are being opportunistic and looking to steal identification such as passports, credit cards, bank details and driving licenses, then promptly leaving.
