A little more about the housemates:
You will be sharing with three house mates including a lovely couple who are interested in both Science and Art, as one is a Geologist and the other is a photographer, as well as a talented male artist/animator. Hobbies include cooking and picnics in the park as we live just 5 minutes away from London Fields (the quieter side). Netflix is available so we like to sometimes have a movie night after dinner. We like to exercise as well so London Fields is a good starting point for a run right down to the canal or if you fancy a swim, the London Fields Lido is just 2 minutes away.
A bit about the house and area:
This is a spacious house with 3 bedrooms, a massive sitting room, a decent kitchen and 2 toilets with one bathtub with plenty of storage space. It's located in a great area just south of Hackney Central. It is only 15min train ride into Liverpool street, 7 mins walk to London Fields Overground Station, 15 mins walk to Dalston Junction and Hackney Central! It is also 10 mins away from the Broadway Market with lots of pubs and Cafes and of course the lovely market on Saturdays and the Sunday flower market down at Columbia road. Our nearest off-licence is literally 3 mins away!
And now about the room:
We have 1 single room available for professionals who want to be in a nice area, not too central where it gets too busy, but also not too far away that commuting becomes a problem.
It's £600 pcm and Bills are not included.
The room is furnished with a spacious built-in closet.
We are looking for a new flat mate who is sociable as well as private. We've got a nice sharing space that we would like to share with like-minded people. We prefer professionals over students and laid back, easy going people. Finally, we would like to keep the place tidy but we also like a homey feel to it, so a moderately clean person but not a clean freak like Monica from friends are more than welcome. Oh, and we are also music lovers with several guitars, a keyboard and a Ukelele on site so music lovers are very very welcome too!
The rooms are available from the 1st of May or possibly earlier according to my arrangements.

Flatshare Checklist / Stay Safe Online
Before contacting or visiting the advertiser, please make sure you have printed and read this checklist fully. Do NOT send any money to an advertiser unless you are happy that they follow all the advice on the list. If you have any concerns, report them to us.
!!! Never Send Money Before Viewing a Room / Property
Fraudsters will try to encourage you to send money before viewing a property. They may ask you to put a deposit down to hold the room, or sometimes even to allow a viewing. A legitimate landlord will never ask for any money upfront before seeing a room. Fraudsters can be very persuasive, please don't let your emotions take over. Make sure you always view the room/property and have paperwork before paying anything. And it is recommended to pay by credit card (not debit) or PayPal if you can for extra cover.
Premium Rate Telephone Numbers
Please check any telephone number before calling. A scammer may try to use a premium rate number which could cost you potentially between £1 and £5 per minute, of which the scammer gets a cut. You can check the potential cost of telephone numbers here https://www.gov.uk/call-charges.
This scam entails the tenant sending their deposit to the landlord by cheque, but for a greater amount than what they are supposed to and asking for a refund. The landlord pays in the cheque and then sends the difference back to the tenant, only to find that the cheque bounces (is fake) and they cannot get the money back they returned. Cheques can bounce a number of weeks after being deposited, it is recommended you wait 30 days or check with your bank to ensure the cheque is fully cleared.
Choose house or flatmates carefully
This scam involves a lodger or housemate moving in and appearing to be completely legitimate when in reality they are being opportunistic and looking to steal identification such as passports, credit cards, bank details and driving licenses, then promptly leaving.
